1980 – 1984 Modern day folk art illustration commissions for major publications including Esquire, GQ, and The Village Voice. Art Director’s Guild Award for National Lampoon magazine.

1986 – 1988 Associate Professor at Manhattanville College creating and teaching Graphic Design, Typography and Illustration course programs.

1994 Contracted to design for early interactive television interfaces for Microsoft an Sony.

1995 Produced and Directed music video “Healing Melodies”.

1997-2023 Formed digital domain crtb as repository for digital films, websites, music, portfolios of paintings, experiments in UX / UI design and commercial projects.

1993 – 1998 Produced and recorded first full length music CD, “Circus Inside The House”.

2001 – 2002 Associate Professor at Columbia University in The Advanced Information Technology Management Program, Graduate Division, creating and teaching courses in Web Design, Usability and Site Architecture.

2001 – 2005 Produced and Directed promotional videos and commercials, designed print advertising and website, served as member of Board of Directors at Piper Theatre Productions Shakespeare company.

2003 – 2023 Study of renewable energy, sustainable building and conservation methodology with focus on off-grid and DIY implementations.

2003 – 2022 Feature film screenplay for sustainability-themed feature “ReInCarNation”.

2004 – 2015 Creative Director and Producer for Ivanhoe Energy. 2004 Designed company logo and branding, 2005 Designed series of technical animations used to secure ongoing funding for technology development, 2007 Produced and Directed promotional film in three languages, 2008 – 2010 Creative Directed, managed and implemented rebrand, strategy, copy, design and production of website, internal and external marketing materials, 2011 – 2013 Produced and Directed expanded revised promotional films for Ivanhoe Energy in five languages.

2005 – 2007 Designed branding and website for solar power firm EmPower CES, rebranded as SunPower by EmPower, the largest solar installer on Long Island, New York.

2006 – 2023 Passivhaus technology-influenced shipping container homes and storm recovery shelter design.

2009 Produced 24 hour Beatles-themed musical performance with over 100 singers and 70 band combinations in Brooklyn.

2011 Produced and Directed documentary film “Lost Gardens”.

2011 – 2013 Computer generated digital image series on city structure, population density and urbanization.

2012 Produced and Directed music video “Summer of Love”.

2012 – 2015 Created custom responsive HTML5/CSS3 template system for used in rapid prototyping and website development.

2014 Produced and Directed two short films on Passivhaus building technology. Collaborated on several educational presentations on the technology in collaboration with Raum Fur Architektur.

2015 – 2016 Revised recording “Brilliance”, revised edit of “48,000 Miles to Nowhere” music video, wrote essay and produced online multimedia presentation of project.

2016 – 2017 Created thirty-two large-format digital artworks and detailed open-sourced timeline on the history of energy usage. Designed book and websites on the project.
